A Divine Decision: Family First Always

In 2003, she received a developmental recording contract from a label in Nashville, offering to promote her original songs nationwide, with airplay across the U.S. and a music video on Country Music Television. She was flown to perform at the popular singer-songwriter venue, Douglas Corners. However, the night before signing the contract, she felt a prompting from the Lord, leading her to stay home instead of going on tour. She chose to remain with her young son and husband, and six months later, she was expecting their second child.
